Whirlpool Washer Valve (WPW10144820)

The Whirlpool Washer Valve controls how water enters the washer. It opens and closes to fill the tub at the right time, and it helps direct hot, cold, or warm water based on the cycle and temperature setting. When it works correctly, the washer fills to the proper level and stops filling when it should.

This valve can fail from mineral buildup, sediment in the supply lines, or wear in the internal solenoids and seals. Screens can clog and restrict flow.
