The Whirlpool Door Bin mounts to the inside of the refrigerator door and holds bottles, jars, and other small items. It helps keep items upright and organized while the door opens and closes.
Door bins often fail from repeated flexing under heavy loads, impact from closing the door with tall items, or plastic fatigue from age and temperature changes. Tabs and mounting points can crack, and the front rail can split, which can cause the bin to sit loose or fall off.
If you are troubleshooting a door storage issue, these symptoms can point to a failed door bin:
- The bin will not stay attached to the door and slips out of place
- Cracks, chips, or missing tabs on the bin or its mounting points
- The front rail is split, bowed, or broken and items tip forward
- Bottles or jars do not sit securely and rattle or fall when the door moves
- The bin drops when the door is opened or when weight is added

- Returns are accepted within 60 days if the part is unused, in original packaging, and over $15 in value.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
- Shipping is non-refundable.
- Items returned without approval won’t be accepted.
