The LG Water Valve controls the flow of water into your refrigerator. It opens and closes to send water to the ice maker and the water dispenser when the appliance calls for it. It helps the unit fill at the right time and stop filling when the request ends.

Common failures come from mineral buildup that restricts flow, wear inside the solenoid valve that prevents it from opening or sealing, or electrical issues such as a damaged coil or loose wiring that stops the valve from actuating.
