LG Power Control Board (EBR76262102)

The LG Power Control Board manages and distributes electrical power to key loads in the appliance. It processes input from sensors and switches, then sends voltage to components such as the compressor, fan motors, heater circuits, pumps, valves, and the user interface. It also helps control timing and protection logic, such as start delays and overload shutdowns.

Common failures come from voltage spikes, moisture or condensation reaching the board, heat stress, corrosion on connectors, and worn solder joints from vibration and repeated thermal cycling. A shorted load or damaged wiring can also overheat the board and damage relays or power components.

If you are troubleshooting, these symptoms may indicate the power control board is the cause:

• Appliance will not power on, even though the outlet has power
• Intermittent operation, random shutdowns, or resets during use
• Component does not run when commanded (such as compressor, fan, pump, or heater), but the component tests good
• Burning smell, visible scorching, or melted spots on the board or connectors
• Clicking relays with no start, or repeated attempts to start followed by stop
• Error codes or abnormal behavior that returns after a power reset
