Whirlpool Motor Module (W10190935)

The Whirlpool Motor Module controls the washer drive motor. It sends power and timing signals that set motor speed and direction for wash, tumble, drain, and spin. It also monitors motor feedback and can stop the cycle if it detects a fault.

Common failures include heat damage on the circuit board, failed power components, cracked solder joints, and moisture or corrosion from leaks or high humidity. Voltage spikes, a stalled or overloaded motor, or wiring issues can also stress the module and cause it to shut down or fail.
