The Whirlpool Ice Bin Handle is the grip used to pull the ice bin in and out of the freezer and to steady the bin while you carry and empty it. It attaches to the ice bin so you can remove the bin for cleaning, clearing jams, or refilling after use.
Common causes of failure include cracking from repeated pulling, impact damage when the bin is dropped or bumped, and stress at the mounting points from a loose fit. Plastic can also become brittle over time in cold conditions, which can lead to breaks during normal use.
