Whirlpool Oven Temperature Sensor (W10833885)

The Whirlpool Oven Temperature Sensor measures the oven’s internal temperature and sends that signal to the control board. The control uses this reading to regulate the heating elements and keep the set temperature steady during baking and broiling.

This sensor can fail from heat stress over time, internal electrical drift, a short or open circuit in the sensor, or damage to the probe or wiring. Loose connections or pinched harness leads can also cause wrong readings that make the oven heat incorrectly.
