The Whirlpool Refrigerator Ice Maker is the self-contained unit inside your freezer compartment that produces and harvests ice cubes automatically. It monitors freezer temperature, fills with water, freezes the water into cubes, and then ejects them into the ice bin for storage and use.
The Whirlpool Refrigerator Ice Maker can stop working properly due to a failed heating element that releases the cubes, a worn motor that turns the ejector arms, or a faulty thermostat that no longer senses when ice is ready to harvest. Water inlet issues, mineral buildup, or a cracked ice mold can also cause the unit to underperform or stop making ice entirely.

- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
