The Whirlpool Refrigerator Evaporator Cover is the panel inside your freezer compartment that conceals and protects the evaporator coils responsible for cooling the refrigerator. It helps direct airflow across the coils and keeps frost buildup contained in the right area so the refrigerator can maintain proper temperatures throughout.
The Whirlpool Refrigerator Evaporator Cover can crack, warp, or break from repeated temperature swings, accidental impact during routine use, or stress caused by excessive frost buildup pressing against the panel. A damaged or missing cover disrupts airflow patterns inside the freezer, which can reduce cooling efficiency and cause frost to accumulate in areas where it does not belong.

- Returns are accepted within 60 days if the part is unused, in original packaging, and over $15 in value.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
