The Whirlpool Range Bake Element is the lower heating element in your electric range that generates the heat needed for baking and roasting. It sits at the bottom of the oven cavity and converts electrical energy into radiant heat, warming the oven to the temperature you set on the control panel.

The Whirlpool Range Bake Element can fail from age, power surges, grease buildup, or physical damage from spills that cause the element to short out or burn through.
