The Whirlpool Left Track guides the dishwasher’s upper rack as it slides in and out. It supports the rack and helps keep it level so dishes load smoothly and the rack aligns with the spray area.
This part can fail from normal wear, impact from overloaded racks, or stress from repeated pulling on a misaligned rack. Cracks, warping, or broken mounting points can also happen if the rack is forced when something is blocking it.
These symptoms can help you decide if the left track is the source of the problem:
- The upper rack sticks, binds, or feels rough when you pull it out or push it in.
- The upper rack tilts, sags, or does not sit level on the left side.
- The rack comes off the track or will not stay seated in the rail.
- You see cracks, breaks, or missing pieces on the left-side rail.
- The rack does not align well and rubs the tub or catches on the side wall.

- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
