The Whirlpool Right Track guides the appliance drawer along the right side so it opens, closes, and seats evenly. It supports the drawer’s weight, keeps it aligned with the cabinet and left track, and helps the drawer move smoothly without binding.
Common causes of failure include normal wear on the glide surfaces, damage from overloading the drawer, impact from slamming, or misalignment after the drawer was removed and reinstalled. Cracks, bent sections, worn rollers, or stripped mounting points can let the drawer sag or shift, which increases drag and can cause repeated sticking.
Use the symptoms below to help decide if replacing the right track will address the issue:
- Drawer is hard to open or close on the right side
- Drawer feels rough, jerky, or grinds during movement
- Drawer sits crooked, sags, or rubs the cabinet
- Drawer pops off the track or will not stay seated

- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
