The Whirlpool Refrigerator Fan Wiring Harness connects the refrigerator’s wiring to the fan motor and related fan circuits. It carries power and control signals so the fan can run at the correct speed and help move air through the refrigerator and freezer sections.
This harness can fail from wire fatigue, vibration, pinched routing, heat damage, moisture intrusion, or corrosion at the connector pins. A loose connection or broken conductor can cause an intermittent fan, a fan that will not start, or unstable fan operation. Damage can also occur after a service repair if the harness is pulled, stressed, or not seated fully in its connectors.
