The GE Range Control Knob is the dial you turn to select burner heat levels or oven functions on your electric range. It attaches to a control shaft on the range panel and sends your setting to the underlying switch or control component to regulate power to the heating element.
GE range control knobs can crack, chip, or break from daily use, accidental impacts, or exposure to heat and cleaning products over time. The knob may also strip internally where it grips the control shaft, making it impossible to turn accurately or hold a selected setting.
Look for these symptoms to determine if your control knob needs to be replaced:
- Knob is cracked, chipped, or broken and cannot be turned properly
- Knob spins freely on the shaft without engaging the control
- Burner or oven does not respond when the knob is turned
- Knob feels loose or wobbles on the control panel
- Heat setting cannot be held in position and slips out of place
- Knob markings are worn off, making it difficult to select the correct setting

- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
