The GE Range Burner Knob is the control you turn to ignite and adjust the flame on your gas range or dual fuel range burner. It connects to the valve stem on the control panel and lets you set the heat level from off to high, giving you direct control over each surface burner.
A GE range burner knob can crack, strip internally, or break from regular use, exposure to heat, or accidental force during cleaning. When the knob's inner sleeve wears out or the knob becomes damaged, it may no longer grip the valve stem properly, making it impossible to control the burner safely or accurately.
Look for these symptoms to see if your burner knob needs to be replaced:
- Knob spins freely without turning the burner on or off
- Knob is cracked, chipped, or broken and difficult to grip
- Burner stays on and cannot be shut off with the knob
- Knob feels loose or wobbly on the valve stem
- Burner flame cannot be adjusted and stays at one level
- Markings on the knob are worn off, making settings hard to read

- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
