The GE Stainless Steel Door Handle is the exterior grip mounted on the front of the microwave door that allows you to open and close the appliance safely. It attaches to the door panel and provides the leverage needed to pull the door open without putting stress on the door hinges or latch mechanism.
The GE Stainless Steel Door Handle can become damaged from everyday use, accidental impacts, or being pulled at an angle over time. The mounting points can crack or break, the finish can chip or corrode, and in some cases the handle can come completely loose from the door, making the microwave difficult or unsafe to open.
These symptoms can help you decide if the door handle is the source of your problem:
- Handle is cracked, broken, or physically separated from the door
- Handle feels loose or wobbles when you pull the microwave door open

- Returns are accepted within 60 days if the part is unused, in original packaging, and over $15 in value.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
- Shipping is non-refundable.
- Items returned without approval won’t be accepted.
