GE Range Wire Harness (WB18X23942)

The GE Range Wire Harness connects the switches and controls in your gas range or dual fuel range to the rest of the electrical system, allowing signals and power to flow between components during normal cooking operation. It acts as the central wiring pathway that ties the burner switches, igniter circuits, and other controls together so the range can respond to your input correctly.

The GE Range Wire Harness can fail due to heat exposure over time, which causes insulation to crack or connections to loosen and corrode. Physical damage from pinching during a previous repair, rodent activity, or repeated movement of range components can also break or fray individual wires, interrupting the circuits that control ignition and burner operation.

Watch for these symptoms to help determine if the wire harness needs to be replaced:

- One or more burners will not ignite or ignite only intermittently

- Burner igniters click constantly even when no burner is in use

- Oven controls or display are unresponsive or behave erratically

- Visible burn marks, melted insulation, or damaged wiring near the switches
