GE 4-Point Spark Ignitor Module (WB21X10029)

The GE 4-Point Spark Ignitor Module controls the spark ignition system on your gas range or dual fuel range, sending electrical pulses to the igniter electrodes at each of the four burners. When you turn a burner knob, this module receives the signal and generates the rapid clicking sparks that light the gas at the surface burners.

The GE 4-Point Spark Ignitor Module can fail from grease and moisture buildup that shorts out the internal components, power surges, or normal wear over years of use. A faulty module may stop sending spark to one or all burners, leaving you unable to light the gas safely without a match.

If you notice any of these symptoms on your gas range, the spark ignitor module may need to be replaced:

- One or more burners will not spark or ignite when the knob is turned

- Clicking continues nonstop even after the burner is lit and the knob is released

- Burner sparks intermittently or ignites only after several attempts

- All four burners lose spark at the same time

- Clicking sound is heard from the wrong burner when a knob is turned

- Visible burn marks or corrosion on the module itself

- Burner lights manually with a match but produces no spark on its own
