The GE Range Control Element is an electrical component that regulates the power delivered to your range's surface burners or oven heating elements. It works by cycling power on and off to maintain the selected heat level, giving you consistent temperature control when cooking on the stovetop.

A GE range control element can fail over time due to heat stress, electrical surges, or normal wear from repeated cycling.
