The GE Oven Control Board manages the temperature, timing, and function settings for your gas range or dual fuel oven by relaying signals from the control panel to the heating elements, igniters, and other components. It acts as the brain of the appliance, interpreting your inputs and coordinating each part of the cooking cycle to maintain accurate heat and proper operation.

A GE Oven Control Board can fail due to power surges, heat exposure over time, moisture damage, or worn electrical connections on the board itself. When the board malfunctions, it may send incorrect signals or no signals at all, causing the oven to behave erratically or stop working altogether.
