GE Microwave Fuse (WB27X11138)

The GE Microwave Fuse is a safety component that protects the microwave or Advantium oven's internal electrical circuit by cutting off power when a dangerous surge or overload occurs. It acts as a one-time protective device, breaking the circuit to prevent damage to other components when current exceeds safe levels.

A GE microwave fuse commonly fails after a power surge, a door switch fault, or an internal short circuit that draws too much current at once. It can also blow from age and repeated heat exposure, or if the microwave is operated while empty or with improper cookware that causes arcing inside the cavity.

These symptoms may point to a blown fuse as the cause of your microwave's problem:
