GE Range Gas Igniter (WB28X28781)

The GE Range Gas Igniter is the component that lights the burner in your gas range by heating up to ignite the flow of gas when you turn the oven on. It works by drawing electrical current to glow hot enough to open the safety valve and allow gas to flow, producing a consistent flame for cooking and baking.

GE range gas igniters commonly fail after years of repeated heating and cooling cycles, which cause the igniter element to weaken and crack over time.
