GE Electric Range Bake Element (WB44K10031)

The GE Electric Range Bake Element is the lower heating component inside your oven cavity that provides the heat needed for baking and roasting. It works by converting electrical current into radiant heat, evenly warming the oven interior from the bottom up to reach and maintain your set cooking temperature.

A GE electric range bake element can fail from normal wear over years of heating and cooling cycles, physical damage from spills or impacts, or electrical faults that cause the element to burn out or arc. Grease buildup and hot spots can also weaken the element over time, eventually preventing it from heating properly or at all.

Watch for these symptoms to help determine if your bake element needs to be replaced:
