The GE Electric Bake Element is the lower heating component in your electric range that provides the heat needed for baking and broiling from below. It works by drawing electrical current through a metal coil that heats up and radiates warmth evenly throughout the oven cavity. This element is responsible for maintaining the steady temperatures your oven needs to cook and bake food properly.

A GE electric bake element can fail due to normal wear over time, exposure to high heat cycles, food spills that cause hot spots, or physical damage from impacts inside the oven.
