GE Oven Rack (WB48T10011)

The GE Oven Rack slides into the oven cavity on built-in rail supports and holds bakeware, roasting pans, and other cookware at the correct height during cooking. It is designed to slide in and out smoothly while supporting the weight of food and cookware at various rack positions inside the electric range.

GE oven racks can become warped from prolonged exposure to high heat, bent from supporting heavy loads, or damaged from accidental drops. Surface corrosion, buildup from spills, or physical deformation can also make a rack unsafe to use or prevent it from sitting level and sliding properly on the oven rails.

Look for these signs to help determine if your oven rack needs to be replaced:

- Rack is visibly bent, warped, or no longer sits flat inside the oven

- Rack does not slide in or out smoothly on the oven rails

- Heavy rust or corrosion that cannot be cleaned off

- Rack tips or shifts when cookware is placed on it

- Wire welds are broken or the rack frame is cracked

- Rack falls off the oven rails during use
