The GE Oven Rack is a removable shelf that sits inside the oven cavity and supports cookware, baking sheets, and food during cooking. It slides in and out on the oven's interior rack guides, allowing you to position food at different heights to control heat exposure and browning.
GE oven racks can become warped from prolonged exposure to high heat, bent from supporting heavy loads, or damaged from being dropped or forced into the oven at an angle. Surface coating can also wear away over time, causing the rack to stick or slide unevenly on the guides.
These symptoms can help you decide if a worn or damaged rack is the source of your problem:
- Rack does not slide smoothly in or out of the oven
- Rack sits unevenly or tilts to one side when loaded
- Visible warping or bending that prevents the rack from lying flat
- Rack coating is chipped, flaking, or heavily rusted

- Cookware tips or slides due to an uneven rack surface

- Returns are accepted within 60 days if the part is unused, in original packaging, and over $15 in value.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
- Shipping is non-refundable.
- Items returned without approval won’t be accepted.
