The upper rack holds dishes, glasses, and smaller items in the top section of the dishwasher and slides in and out on wheel assemblies that run along the side rails. It positions items directly in the spray path so water and detergent can reach every surface during the wash and rinse cycles.

If your appliance documentation or old part uses any of these numbers, this is the correct, updated component for your repair.
Upper racks can wear out from repeated loading and unloading, exposure to hot water and steam, or physical stress from overloading. The rack tines can bend or break, the vinyl coating can chip and rust, and the wheel or track connections can weaken until the rack no longer slides or sits level inside the dishwasher.
