GE Washer Drive Belt (WH01X10302)

The GE Washer Drive Belt connects the motor to the drum and transfers power to spin and tumble your laundry during the wash and spin cycles. It wraps around the motor pulley and drum pulley, creating the tension needed to keep the drum moving at the right speed throughout the cycle.

A GE washer drive belt can wear out over time from constant stretching, heat exposure, and friction against the pulleys. Overloading the washer, washing heavy items repeatedly, or a seized pulley can accelerate wear, causing the belt to crack, fray, slip, or break entirely.

If you notice any of these symptoms, the drive belt may need to be replaced:

- Drum does not spin or tumble during the wash or spin cycle

- Washer runs and sounds like it is working but clothes come out soaking wet

- Burning rubber smell coming from the washer during operation

- Squealing, squeaking, or slipping noise when the washer tries to spin

- Drum moves slowly or inconsistently instead of at a steady speed

- Visible cracks, fraying, or glazing on the belt if you can inspect it
