The GE Glass Frame Lid is the outer lid assembly that covers the top of a top-load washing machine and allows you to see inside the tub through its glass panel during operation. It connects to the cabinet via hinges and works with the lid switch to detect when the lid is open or closed, which controls whether the washer runs or pauses for safety.
