GE Triple Water Valve (WH13X10026)

The GE Triple Water Valve controls the flow of water into your washing machine by opening and closing solenoid-operated ports that direct water to the tub during fill cycles. It features three separate inlets that allow the washer to manage hot, cold, and mixed water supplies, giving the machine precise control over water temperature and fill levels.

The GE Triple Water Valve can fail due to mineral buildup from hard water, worn or cracked solenoid coils, or debris clogging the inlet screens over time. A damaged valve may stick open, stay closed, or lose the ability to regulate flow properly, disrupting the washer's ability to fill correctly for each cycle.

Look for these symptoms to help determine if the water valve may need to be replaced:

- Washer does not fill with water at all when a cycle starts

- Washer fills too slowly or takes much longer than usual to reach the correct water level

- Water temperature is wrong, such as cold water when a warm or hot setting is selected

- Washer continues to fill with water even when the machine is off or not running

- Washer stops mid-cycle due to insufficient water supply

- Visible leaking or dripping near the back of the washer where the water lines connect
