The GE Washer Control Board & Support is the main electronic brain of your washing machine, receiving input from the control panel and coordinating the timing and operation of every cycle, including fill, wash, rinse, and spin. It sends signals to the motor, water inlet valve, pump, and other components to carry out the selected wash program. The support bracket holds the board securely in place inside the cabinet.

The GE Washer Control Board & Support can fail due to power surges, moisture exposure, overheating, or normal wear on internal components over time. Burned circuits, corroded connectors, or damaged solder joints are common causes of board failure that can disrupt communication between the control system and the rest of the washer.

Watch for these symptoms to help determine if the control board may need to be replaced:
