GE Dishwasher Pump (WH23X10028)

The GE Dishwasher Pump circulates water through the spray arms during the wash cycle and drains water out of the tub at the end of each cycle. It uses a motor-driven impeller to push water with enough pressure to clean dishes effectively, then reverses or switches modes to remove dirty water through the drain line.

The GE Dishwasher Pump can wear out from mineral buildup, debris clogs, or a failing motor over time. Seals and bearings inside the pump can also deteriorate from regular use, leading to leaks, weak spray pressure, or a complete loss of washing or draining function.

Look for these symptoms to help determine if the pump is the source of your dishwasher problem:
