Whirlpool Oven Temp Sensor (WPW10131825)

The Whirlpool Oven Temp Sensor measures the oven’s internal temperature and sends that reading to the control so it can regulate heat during baking, roasting, and broiling. When it reads correctly, the oven can cycle the heating elements on and off to hold the set temperature.

This sensor can fail when the sensing tip or internal wiring drifts out of range from age and repeated heat exposure. It can also fail from a damaged harness, loose connection, or a pinched wire that changes the signal sent to the control.
