The GE Freezer LED Light Module provides interior lighting inside the freezer compartment, activating when the door is opened so you can see and access stored items. It connects to the appliance's electrical system and uses LED technology to deliver bright, energy-efficient light with a longer service life than traditional bulb-style fixtures.

The GE Freezer LED Light Module can fail due to power surges, moisture exposure, or simple wear over time that causes the LED components or internal circuitry to stop functioning. Frequent door openings, temperature fluctuations inside the freezer, or a faulty door switch that keeps the light running continuously can also shorten the module's lifespan.
