The GE Freezer Basket with Glide is a storage component in your bottom mount refrigerator that holds and organizes food items in the freezer compartment. It slides in and out on a glide track, allowing smooth access to frozen items stored at the bottom of the unit.

The GE Freezer Basket with Glide can become damaged from regular use, heavy loads, or accidental impacts that crack the basket frame or wear down the glide mechanism. Over time, the plastic can become brittle, the glide can break or detach, and the basket may no longer slide or sit correctly in the freezer compartment.

Look for these symptoms to help determine if your basket or glide needs to be replaced:

    - Basket does not slide in or out smoothly

    - Glide is cracked, broken, or detached from the basket

    - Basket tips, sags, or no longer sits level in the freezer

    - Visible cracks or breaks in the basket frame or sides

  • A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
